.my precious quiver.
15 October 2008psalm 127:3-5 Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them!
my kids have been amazing the past week or so. (they’re always amazing, but something about the past couple of weeks has made it extra special.) it has been so fun hanging out with them! last weekend i took my girls to the beach for the beach retreat while oleah stayed home with my son (it was the day after his surgery). the girls loved being at the beach, playing in the pool, and going down the waterslide. of course they loved being thrown around in the waves and playing in the sand the most. it was a fun little trip and a special date that we enjoyed. i also took them to dairy queen for 1/2 off blizzards on monday night. while i know eating cookie dough and m&m blizzards is not the healthiest thing to do at 9pm for kids, it was so worth it! we love our dates! my son has been remarkably different since his surgery. he’s a new little man! he responds so well, definitely does not cry as much, and plays well on his own. before the surgery, he was often fussy because of infection and pain. praise the Lord he’s doing so much better! i love the little tyke and one of my favorite things to do is cuddle with him in the dark before i put him to bed. so sweet!
