.surgery in 16 minutes flat.
2 October 2008my son’s surgery went very well this morning. we woke him up at 6:45 and were at the surgical center by 7:15. we talked with the nurse first, the doctors took him at 7:55, and we were talking to the doctor by 8:15. we were home by 9am. i was very impressed with the quickness of the procedure and the efficiency of the whole process. he now has tubes in both ears (bilateral myringotomy) and is expected to have a quick recovery. praise God for medical advances! everything is likely very loud to him now that he doesn’t have fluid in his middle ear. we’ll need to instruct our girls to refrain from screaming around him! please pray for quick recovery for the little guy and that he wouldn’t get sick anymore.
