.end of the week.
26 April 2008man, i’m glad the week’s over. this has been one busy week…from an indian garba and wedding last weekend to live oak to atlanta to my brother’s house to a board meeting for chemistry stuff to my parents’ house to vendor workshops to wonderful chemistry seminars to networking to my sister’s house to gainesville to closing ceremonies to crazy busy days at work training others to camp good news twice for staff planning and fun time….and in the midst of all this we are planning out sunday services and home groups for the summer and our church plans for next year. lots of cell phone minutes! however, in the craziness of it all this week, i have been thankful for God’s grace in allowing me to be consistent in the word to connect with him each day. i would probably have a nervous breakdown otherwise. His grace is more than sufficient for me. oleah has been super encouraging in reminding me to be like daniel…one who was a fine servant to the kings of babylon and a tremendous influencer of people for God. may my life be but a fraction of what daniel’s was like. i do pray for my effectiveness in all arenas of my life, especially my family and extended family, my ministry, and my work.
give me one pure and holy passion; give me one magnificent obession; give me one pure and holy vision for my life…to know and follow hard after You. to know and follow hard after You; to grow as your disciple in the truth; this world is empty, pale and poor compared to knowing you my Lord, so lead me on and i will run after you…
