.terrible blogger.
9 April 2008ok, so i’ve realized i need to be pretty consistent if i ever want to be a blogger. well, i don’t want to be a blogger, so that’s ok. i’ll just randomly update some things here whenever i remember.
having a family of five means that there’s never a dull moment in the home. #1, as are the rest of us, is eagerly awaiting her upcoming dance recital in a few months. she is extremely excited to show us her stage presence. she is growing into such a beautiful young little lady and i’m excited at the individual she is becoming. #2 is growing in her independence and is becoming more and more sweet as she gets older. she used to withhold affection much more, but now she loves to give kisses and hugs much more frequently. i taught her how to “eskimo” kiss last night, so she’ll be wanting to “keemo” kiss for awhile. #3, as expected at this age, is the chunk-meister. he’s about 20 pounds and almost seven months old. he should weigh more than #2 soon. he just started to crawl, well, shove himself forward a bit. he’s been on solid veggies now for a couple weeks. he’ll likely start losing weight once he gets a bit more mobile.
as for oleah and me, we are greatly encouraged at what we’ve been learning recently. she’s been studying daniel through a beth moore study. it’s fun to talk about the word together as oleah has been blessed with so much insight into truth. i just finished daniel and started hosea this morning. we are continually amazed at God’s love for his people. i admire how daniel and hosea both stand out as ones who hear from God and are not afraid to listen and follow him despite the crazy circumstances he puts us in. go God!
